I started work with Canadian Industrial Paramedics in the oil & gas sector in Fort St. John, in April 2017. Shortly afterward, the company was bought by International SOS (ISOS). I worked short term for a couple of years, before the sector really picked up with the CGL Pipeline. The pipeline runs from the Groundbirch area near Fort St. John to Kitimat BC. The pipeline work is still going on today and is expected to be completed in the next couple of years. I worked mainly in the Kitimat/Terrace area on the North Kitimat Road. The scenery and wildlife that I encountered in the Kitimat area is amazing. Talk about getting up close and personal with grizzly bears and moose.

CIP/ISOS is a world wide company.  ISOS's comprehensive paramedic program delivers healthcare in remote work locations, where and when it is needed most. ISOS's team of medics, physicians, and logistics personnel work together to effectively treat injury and illness in camp environments. Care is provided quickly and efficiently, leading to less operational downtime, reduced lost time due to injury, and improved treatment outcomes.
